ENERVEX Chimney Fans are especially designed to work with wood stoves and fireplaces, pulling smoke and odor from the room. The fan is mounted on top of the chimney and offers variable speed features, which provides the right amount of draft when it's needed. The fan is mounted on top of chimney — out of sight — and provides optimal airflow, eliminating fireplace smoke forever. When the fireplace is not in use, the fan can be used as a ventilator and can control dust when removing ashes from the fireplace.

Our ENERVEX Fans are available in four sizes to fit most chimneys. They mount outside the chimney, where they literally suck the smoke from the flue.

A Steel Chimney Adapter (see below) is recommended for Class A installations.

Features:

ENERVEX Fans are UL-listed, powerful, efficient, and very quiet. The motor is completely enclosed and maintenance free with air-cooled, pre-lubricated, sealed ball bearings. It comes with a pre-wired junction box, a bird screen, and a speed motor control. With the motor speed control, you can adjust the speed of the fan from the room where you have the fireplace. It also doubles as a ventilator: turn it on when you need to refresh the air in the room, and the fan will pull out stale odors and cigarette smoke.

The ENERVEX Fan is designed for minimum energy consumption, using about as much energy as a regular light bulb. Made of premium cast aluminum and stainless steel.

Recommended Fan Size

Note: If installing for a woodstove insert or freestanding stove, use a 9" fan for flue sizes up to 144 square inches (this is for usage with doors closed. If doors are left open during usage, or area is greater than 144 square inches, use a 12" fan.

Because the Remote Wireless Control System is easier to install than the Standard Speed Control that comes with each ENERVEX Fan, it will save you money on the installation!

The ENERVEX Fan Wireless Remote Control System ensures the best possible airflow and optimized combustion. It has a two year warranty. The ENERVEX Fan Wireless Remote Control System is comprised of three parts:

Wireless Remote Control
The Remote Wireless Control System has alarm functions (such as for a chimney fire); an automatic sensor-controlled system to make certain the ENERVEX Fan is switched on at the correct time to reduce heat loss; and a special function that even tells you when it is time to add more fuel!

Temperature Sensor
Enables Automatic Start and Stop functions, the refiring function, and a high temperature warning. When the temperature in the chimney rises, the Automatic Start function turns on your ENERVEX Fan automatically. The Automatic Stop function can run the ENERVEX Fan for up to 45 minutes after a fire has been extinguished to remove all products of combustion left in the chimney.

Repeater Unit
If you want to use the Control Unit more that 30 feet away from the Power Unit, you will also need a Repeater Unit that is sold separately, below. Each Repeater Unit gives you at least 30 additional feet of range. Use no more than three Repeater Units in an installation.

Chimney Adapters

With Adapters, ENERVEX Fans can be used with round flues as well as square or rectangular flues.

Steel Chimney Adapter
The Steel Chimney Adapter is used when installing the RS chimney fan on the top of a single, double or triple wall steel chimney. The adapter is designed to slide into the steel chimney for a tight fit. The outer diameter of the collar is 1/8" smaller than the inner diameter of the steel chimney, and has a 5" deep collar.
