The Outside Mount with Hip and Ridge Lid Multi-Flue Cap is the perfect chimney cap for a decorative appearance that is sure to increase the value of any home while also providing unmatched protection for the top & inside of the chimney. The Hip and Ridge lid is fabricated with a 6/12 pitch and provides a 2" lid overhang over the sides of the mesh screen. The lid of the cap is removable for easy access to the chimney flues for cleanings and maintenance. The Outside Mount cap is equipped with a 2" horizontal skirt that provides a ledge for the cap to be supported by the outside edge of the chimney. It also features a 3" vertical skirt that extends down each side of the chimney to allow you to attach the cap to the sides of the chimney. The vertical side skirt is fabricated with a drip edge to help divert rainwater from running straight down the sides of the chimney. Constructed out of 304L stainless steel.
We recommend adding at least 1/4" extra allowance to the length and width exact measurements of the brick chimney. Screen height size is recommended to be at least 6" taller than the top of the flue.
