Faceplate Option Details

Narrow Faceplate U-Shape

The Narrow Faceplate is U-shaped and used when the fireplace insert is going to be tight inside the fireplace and there is not much gap between the unit and the existing opening. It also provides the fireplace insert with an even more modern look. The U-Shaped Narrow Faceplate measures 1.75" on three sides. U-Shape Faceplate Installation Guide

Narrow Faceplate

The Narrow Faceplate is a 4-sided faceplate used when the insert is tight inside the fireplace and there is not much gap between the unit and the existing opening. This will provide the insert with a thin flashing and modern appearance. You could elevate the insert by adding a row of bricks on the fireplace floor to raise the stove and the bottom portion of the Narrow Faceplate will give the insert the boxed in appearance of a picture frame. Narrow Faceplate Installation Guide

32" x 50" Cuttable Faceplate in 16 gauge

The 32" x 50" Cuttable Faceplate is used to flash around the fireplace insert when there is a wide gap between the insert and the fireplace opening. The Cuttable Faceplate is 16 gauge and can be cut using a grinder with a cutoff wheel. You can cut the faceplate to any shape needed. If you have a nice arched fireplace, you can cut the faceplate to match the arch preventing the flashing from covering a decorative arch. Cuttable Faceplate Installation Guide

Optional Accessory Details

Moulded Refractory Panel Kit for Minimalist Base and Insert

The Moulded Refractory Panel Kit is a great way to enhance the heat inside the stove which provides for a cleaner burning unit. The Moulded Panel Kit is also great for maintenance with less joints to clean out compared to fire bricks. The Minimalist Base Kit will have an extra panel to cover the clean-out trap.

5" Fresh Air Intake Kit Oval

The 5" Fresh Air Oval Kit is required if you plan on connecting a fresh air intake pipe. The oval adapter kit comes with the oval adapter, 2 clamps and the fresh air intake register hood. The oval adapter is intended for 5" fresh air intake pipe. You will need to manually ovalize the flexible intake pipe to make the connection to the adapter. The oval adapter can be positioned on either side of the insert.

5" Fresh Air Intake Register with Airtight Damper

The 5" Fresh Air Intake Register with Airtight Damper opens and closes the fresh air supply to a wood insert. It's simple mechanism makes it possible to close the damper tightly when the wood insert is not in use.
