The Top Mount with Hip and Ridge Lid Multi-Flue Cap is constructed from 304L Stainless Steel and provides a decorative look - enhancing the appearance of any home. The Hip and Ridge lid features a 6/12 pitch and provides a 2" lid overhang over the sides of the mesh screen. The lid of the cap is removable for easy access to the chimney flues for cleanings and maintenance. The top mount design easily attaches to the top of the chimney crown or brick with chimney adhesive and masonry tapcon screws (included). The 1.5" wide hinged mounting flange allows you to position the flange on either the outside of the mesh screen or on the inside of the mesh screen when the cap is a tight fit. It is recommended that the height of the mesh screen be 6" higher than the tallest flue that extends above the cement crown of the chimney for proper ventilation. The corners are equipped with corner reinforcements that provide unmatched rigidity for the chimney cap. The measurement you enter for the size of the cap will be the measurements of the mesh screen.
