Product Details:
The 4" Selkirk Wall Band is used for a through the wall venting to stabilize the pipe above the tee against the side of the home. You must install a Wall Band every 6' above the tee on the side of the home.
When the Wall Band is installed on an outside wall, it will provide the pipe with the 2" clearance from combustible material that is needed. If you need to extend the wall band further off the wall to clear a roof overhang, you can simply use any construction material to place behind the wall band to extend it further off of the wall.
