No electricity or natural gas needed. This runs completely by wood burning. The wood cookstoves do not take any more time for the cooktop or oven to heat up than it would for an electric or gas burning stove. You'll be cooking in no time. The secondary combustion helps extend the burn time while the primary air and smoke bypass knob will help you dial into the perfect temperature for what you are cooking.
