Product Details:

The Drolet Deco Alto offers the modern design features of the Deco Nano and Deco II wood stoves but has a much larger firebox and ability to heat much larger spaces. With a 2.4 cubic ft firebox the Deco Alto is able to accept up to a 20" log while producing up to 75,000 BTUs and heating up to 2,100 square ft. The Deco Alto is an EPA certified non-catalytic secondary combustion wood stove that has an impressive 8 hour burn time on one load of wood.

The taller than average height really stands out when you first see the Deco Alto wood stove. Traditionally most wood stoves of this size and class have a height between 30 and 32 inches tall. The Deco Alto towers above the rest with an overall height of 39 3/4". No need for a wood rack, the integrated storage under the firebox allows you to store the next few loads of wood without having to take up valuable floor space. The included ash drawer allows you to easily clean out the Deco Alto's firebox. An optional blower is available to help push the heat across a larger space.

If you are looking for a contemporary wood stove that is able to heat large spaces, the Drolet Deco Alto is for you. The Drolet Deco Alto qualifies for the wood and pellet stove tax credit through the end of 2032. See below for more details.

Help & Documents:

Optional Accessories:

Blower Assembly with Variable Speed Control (Up To 100 CFM)

The optional Variable Speed Blower is a great way to help spread the heat across the room more quickly. The 100 CFM blower mounts to the back of the stove and comes with an 8' power 120/AC power cord. The blower runs very quietly in the background.

Quick Connect Thermodisc

The Quick Connect Thermodisc is a great addition when using a blower on your Deco Alto wood stove. The thermodisc will only activate the blower to run when the stove reaches a certain temperature. If you forget to turn the blower off before you leave the home for a few days, the thermodisc will cut power off to the blower and prevent it from running until the stove is hot again. This is a must for any wood stove with a blower.

5"Ø Fresh Air Intake Kit for Wood Stove on Pedestal

A fresh air intake is great for any stove. This will ensure the stove has the proper combustion air to run efficiently. If your home is very air tight, you would need an air intake kit. The kit comes with the intake adapter for the stove, 2 clamps and the hood register for outside. A 5" fresh air pipe is required to complete the job.

Rigid Firescreen

The Rigid Firescreen allows you to burn wood in the stove with the door open just like an old-time fireplace. Hear the crackle of the wood, watch the flames dance around in the firebox and relax around the wood insert on a cold winter's night. The Rigid Firescreen is easy to install and easy to remove when you are ready to load more wood. The fireplace insert should not be burning with the door open without the firescreen.

Tax Credit Information

The Drolet Deco Alto Wood Burning Stove is EPA rated and has a HHV rating of 75% which qualifies for the wood and pellet stove tax credit through the end of 2032. From January 2023 through December 2032 you can receive up to a 30% tax credit for the installation and parts required, such as chimney liner and insulation. This is one of the largest tax credits the wood and pellet stove industry has ever had. If you are looking to update your old drafty fireplace consider the Drolet Deco Alto Wood Burning Stove.
