Product Details
The chimney liner Off-Set Box is the perfect adapter when you are installing a stainless steel chimney liner to connect to a wood insert when the insert's outlet and the chimney liner are not lining up. Oftentimes the exhaust outlet on a wood insert is positioned too far forward in the fireplace making it difficult to attach a chimney liner. It is common when the exhaust outlet is sitting just under the lintel of the fireplace making it impossible to connect to the liner.
These are common obstacles with small fireplaces. The chimney liner Off-Set Box is the perfect solution for this issue. The two-piece design allows you to adjust the depth of the exhaust outlet to the chimney liner to allow you to make the chimney liner connection to the fireplace insert. This chimney liner Off-Set Box provides the most offset of any other box in the industry. Constructed from 304L stainless steel.
- The 6" adapter will provide a 6" offset center to center and up to a 12" center to center offset when fully opened.
- The 8" adapter will provide a 7" offset center to center and up to a 12" center to center offset when fully opened
The top collar will accept a stainless steel flexible chimney liner. Use stainless steel sheet metal screws to attach the liner to the offset box. The male end on the bottom side of the box will attach directly to the stove outlet. Every stove outlet is slightly different, you may need Mill-Pac to seal around the offset box. A removable insulated cleanout door is on the face of the box to allow you to access it for easy maintenance.
