The Crown Mount High Wind Co-Linear Chimney Caps are the best option for venting a gas or pellet fireplace insert or stove into a masonry chimney in a windy area. If you currently experience high winds blowing your pilot light out the High Wind Co-Linear Chimney Cap is ideal for you. The design of the cap prevents any wind from entering while still allowing the exhaust gases to vent out of the cap. This unique chimney cap can accommodate the exhaust as well as the fresh air intake(liners sold separately). No need to cut a hole in the side of the home.
Utilize the chimney for all your fresh air needs. The cap separates the exhaust and fresh air intake to ensure that none of the exhaust gas can get pulled down the intake line. The Co-Linear Chimney Cap is fixed on a 17" x 17" plate and is available in either a 3" exhaust with 3" air intake OR 4" exhaust and 3" air intake. The Co-Linear Chimney Caps are constructed from 304L stainless steel.
