The DuraPlus Base Anchor Plate is used to connect DuraPlus Class A Chimney Pipe to a pre-fabricated zero clearance fireplace. This acts as the starter adapter for making the connection to the top of the fireplace. The Base Anchor Plate can also be used to convert a masonry firebox to a Class A chimney. This avoids the expense of constructing a costly masonry chimney above the masonry firebox.
Note: For pre-fabricated zero clearance fireplaces make sure to check the manufacturer's installation instructions to confirm that DuraPlus Class A Chimney Pipe is approved for that particular fireplace.
