The DuraPlus Flat Ceiling Support Box is used to support the weight of the Class A Pipe when penetrating a flat ceiling. It is painted black and comes with trim to provide a finished look at the ceiling. The support box will extend 2 in. below the flat ceiling and is capable of supporting up to 35 ft.of DuraPlus pipe. The inside of the support box is equipped with a twist lock connection giving the DuraPlus pipe a positive connection to the support box.
Use the DuraPlus Snap Lock Adapter with Trim to connect the stove pipe to the bottom of the support box. An attic Insulation Shield must be installed over the Flat Ceiling Support Box when passing through an attic space.
