The DuraTech Class A Elbow Kit allows you to offset the pipe when there is an obstruction in the chimney pipes path. Oftentimes when installing an appliance, the appliance needs to be in a very specific location. The location of the vent is not always going to line up perfectly with the location of rafter joist and other possible obstructions. The Elbow Kit allows you to offset the venting pipe in an attic, inside a chase, or along the exterior of the structure.
Available in 15 and 30 degree kits with each kit including two elbows and an elbow support. The elbow support will be mounted around the pipe that is positioned between the two elbows and the straps will be mounted to either rafters or joist to support the offset. The elbow kits are constructed of 430 stainless steel inner wall and a 430 outer wall. Elbows swivel 360 degrees at base, but the angles are not adjustable.
Note: Offsets greater than 30 degrees are not permitted in accordance with U.L 103 standards.
