Base Kit Included Component Details

Ceiling Support

The DuraVent Direct Vent Pro Cathedral / Flat Ceiling Support will support the weight of the pipe for vertical venting applications. The support box comes with a support clamp, support box, and trim for around the box. The support box measures 10.625" x 10.625" and is 14" in length. Painted high temp black to match the black piping.

Vertical High Wind Chimney Cap

The DuraVent Direct Vent Pro Vertical High Wind Termination Cap is used as a termination cap for vertical venting through the roof. The high wind design will prevent any wind driven downdrafts. Check with your appliance manufacturer's installation instruction for the minimum height the cap needs to be above the roof.

Cover Plate

DuraVent Direct Vent Pro Ceiling Support / Wall Thimble Cover Plate is used as a decorative cover plate for a horizontal venting application to cover the wall thimble. It can also be used for flat ceilings as a trim collar. The cover comes with an insulated ring to reduce any infiltration through the ceiling or wall. The cover plate measures 13" x 13" and extends into the room 2". The black finish will match the black piping.

Roof Flashing

Shingle Roof Flashing

The DuraVent Direct Vent Pro Adjustable Roof Flashing is used to waterproof the roof penetration for vertical venting. The Adjustable Flashing is available for low pitch roofs ranging from 0/12 thru 06/12 roof pitch and also steep pitch roof ranging from 07/12 thru 12/12 roof pitch. The flashing is fabricated from galvalume steel. The storm collar is included.

Metal Roof Flashing

The DuraVent Direct Vent Pro Dead Soft Aluminum Roof Flashing is used to properly seal the vent pipe roof penetration through metal or tile roofs. The Dead Soft Flashing is able to conform to irregular shapes on the metal or tile roof. The Dead Soft Flashing is available in 0/12 thru 6/12 roof pitches and 7/12 thru 12/12 roof pitches. Storm collar is included.

Optional Component Details

Attic Insulation Shield

The DuraVent Direct Vent Pro Attic Insulation Shield is required for any vertical venting when the chimney pipe is passing through an attic space. The Attic Insulation Shield will prevent any insulation or debris from accumulating around the vent pipe. The Attic Insulation Shield will provide 1" clearance to combustible material. Includes the base plate, extension tube, and storm collar. The shield is able to adjust from 11" to 20" tall depending on the amount of insulation in the attic space. If the attic space is too low to accommodate the Attic Insulation Shield, the vent pipe must be enclosed in a chase.
