The Liberty Foundry Co.™ G500 Sampson Series Fireplace Grates are designed for homeowners who want a durable, high-performance grate that maximizes airflow and promotes a longer-lasting fire. Constructed from heavy-duty cast iron, these grates withstand intense heat while providing dependable support for firewood season after season. Their sturdy design lifts logs off the fireplace floor, allowing air to circulate underneath the fire for improved combustion and a brighter, more efficient burn.
A signature feature of the Sampson Series is its self-feeding, curved basket design. As logs burn down, the angled grate encourages them to naturally roll toward the center, helping maintain a consistent flame and making it easier to add additional firewood on top. This design helps keep your fire contained while promoting a more complete and efficient burn.
The G500 Sampson Series Fireplace Grate is available in 18", 22", 26", 30" and 33" front widths. For larger fireplaces choose the optional G500-C 8" Extender to increase the fireplace grate's width by 8". These airflow-enhanced grates feature a 2-¾” leg height resulting in easy log lighting and a consistent, even burn. 1-Year Limited Warranty
