Product Details:

The Ventis HE250R is a classic zero clearance wood burning fireplace. The large single glass door provides a viewing area like no other single door fireplace offers. Do not be fooled by its size, the 2.5 square foot firebox is capable of burning 20" logs. EPA 2020 Certified fireplace burns very clean with a 1.14 G/H emissions rate and can produce up to 80,000 BTUs. The non-catalytic combustion technology utilizes a durable C-cast baffle and secondary air to allow the HE250R to burn cleanly and efficiently. The molded refractory looks absolutely amazing inside the firebox.

The Ventis HE250R is not just for enjoying the look of a wood burning fireplace, this is capable of heating a home from 850 to 2200 square feet. The Ventis HE250R zero clearance fireplace is equipped with a blower and also comes standard with the distinctive Ventis louvers. A 6" Rock-Vent class A chimney anchor plate is also included to get your chimney section started.

    Heat Shield for Shelf/Mantel

The Heat Shield for a surround shelf will allow you to install a combustible mantel closer to the fireplace. The Heat Shield will prevent the mantel from overheating. You can lower a mantel up to 8" lower than the installation instructions state for the mantel height above the fireplace. The Heat Shield can accommodate a mantel with a depth of 6" to 12" and up to 84" long.

    Firescreen Door

Want to enjoy the Ventis HE250R Fireplace like a traditional open fireplace? Then the Fire Screen Door is perfect for you. Sit back, hear the crackling of the wood, feel the direct heat of the fire and enjoy the beauty of a fire inside your home. The Fire Screen fits perfectly inside the door opening without having to remove the doors every time. You should never leave the fireplace unattended when the Fire Screen is installed.

4” Fresh Air Intake Register with Airtight Damper

The 4" Fresh Air Intake Register with Airtight Damper opens and closes the fresh air supply to a wood fireplace. It's simple mechanism makes it possible to close the damper tightly when the wood stove insert is not in use. This will ensure the wood fireplace is not being cooled while not in use.

Hot Air Gravity Distribution Kit (Traditional Style)

The Traditional Hot Air Gravity Distribution Kit allows you to heat other parts of the home directly above the Ventis HE250R fireplace. The kit includes 2 grills, 2 - 90 degree elbows and 6 steel brackets with hardware and fasteners. The minimum height of the hot air duct is 68" and the max length of the hot air ducts must not exceed 10'. The hot air ducts must maintain a 2" clearance to combustible material when passing through a wall or floor. The higher you install the grills above the fireplace the more draw and heat will be generated. 8" duct (not included) is required to complete the installation.

Hot Air Gravity Distribution Kit (Modern with Adjustable Pipes)

The Modern Hot Air Gravity Distribution Kit allows you to heat other parts of the home directly above the Ventis HE250R. The modern design is sleeker and a better looking option for the air distribution. The kit includes a decorative plate, adjustable frame, heat distribution box, telescoping section and anchor plates.

    Fireplace Carrying Handle Kit

The Fireplace Carrying Handle Kit makes transporting the fireplace to the install location much easier. The Handle Kit enables you to attach handles to the sides of the fireplace and gives you a better grip when lifting the fireplace. A 7/16" ratchet is all that is required to attach the handles to the fireplace for carrying.

    Forced Air Kit

The Forced Air Kit allows you to heat other rooms of the home adding to the heating capacity of the Ventis HE250RFireplace. Use a 6" insulated flex pipe (not included) to send additional heat throughout the home. The Forced Air Kit must be a minimum of 10' away from the fireplace and can heat a room up to 50' away. The Forced Air Kit can be positioned on either side of the fireplace providing flexibility for the installation.

    25’ Insulated Flex Pipe

Use the 6" x 25' Insulated Flex Pipe with the Forced Air Kit to add additional heat to other rooms in the home. The Insulated Flex Pipe is ULC S110 and/or UL 181 listed and meets the minimum heat rating of 250 degree that is required for installation. The Insulated Flex Pipe can be cut if needed.
