Stainless Steel Insert Adapter Boot

Product Details
The Stainless Steel Rectangle To Round Insert Adapter Boot is the perfect solution for connecting an older wood stove insert with a rectangular or oval exhaust hole to a round chimney liner. Older wood stoves commonly known as slammers were never intended to have a chimney liner directly connected to the insert and generally have a rectangular flat exhaust hole.
The Rectangle To Round Insert Adapter boot is able to mount to the top of the insert converting the rectangle shape to a round shape for either a 6" or 8" round exhaust hole. The boot has a 1" outside flange that allows you to attach it to the top of the stove using sheet metal screws through the flange (hardware not included). Also, a 3/4" inside flange on the boot allows you to properly seal the bottom of the boot with furnace cement.
The round collar is positioned at a 20 degree angle which generally makes it easier to attach the liner to the insert because the liner usually enters the firebox through the smoke chamber into the firebox at an angle.
Constructed from 24-gauge, 304L stainless steel. Use a chimney liner Appliance Connector to connect the liner to the insert boot, and use Furnace Cement to seal the connection between the boot and the stove.
Outside Dimensions: 18" wide x 10" deep x 5.5" tall. (To the top of the collar.)
Inside Dimensions: 16" wide x 8.5" deep x 5.5" tall. (To the top of the collar.)
Does your insert have an exhaust hole larger than our Rectangle To Round Insert Adapter Boot? Custom sizes are available upon request.
