The SuperPro / SuperVent Adjustable Flashing with Storm Collar is used to waterproof the chimney pipe when it is passing through a roof. The Adjustable Flashing is used for shingle roofs and is available in either 0/12 through 6/12 or 7/12 through 12/12 roof pitches. The Flashing will tuck underneath the shingles on the top side of the roof and overhang the shingles on the lower side of the roof.
A Storm Collar is included to ensure the chimney pipe is water tight as it passes through the top of the flashing. A bead of silicone must be applied around the top edge of the storm collar to ensure it is water tight. The SuperPro / SuperVent Adjustable Flashing with Storm Collar is constructed out of galvalume steel.
SuperPro and SuperVent models are compatible with each other according to the manufacturer. The 6 in. & 8 in. diameters are the SuperPro model (compatible with SuperVent). The 7 in. diameter is the SuperVent model (compatible with SuperPro).
