The Caboose Tiny Wood Stove is a space saving Tiny Wood Stove that is capable of heating up to 600 sq.ft which makes it the perfect addition from any Tiny Home, RV, Camper or Small cabin. Weighing in at only 90 pounds and measuring 22" wide by 25" tall and only 10 deep from front to back ensures The Caboose will not get in the way when every square foot of the space matters.
The side loading door allows you to burn up to a 14" long by 5 1/2" diameter piece of wood which is more than double what most other tiny stoves can accept. Being able to burn larger pieces of wood allows the Caboose to have burn times of over 6 hours with hard woods. Fully lined with firebrick and equipped with a brick baffle ensures the Caboose is burning hot and efficiently. We understand that every square foot of space matters in the smaller spaces, so you are able to choose between a right side loading door or a left sided loading door.
The Caboose is equipped with a large air washed glass view window in the front and allows you to not only enjoy the heat from the fire but also the beauty of the flames as you snuggle up next to the Caboose in the cold winter months. The top of the stove has an 8" x 10" flat top that can be utilized as a cooking surface that could accommodate a small pot or skillet.
The Caboose has a 4" exhaust outlet on the top of the stove. If clearance to combustible material is not an issue, you can use a single wall stove pipe to reach the side of a brick chimney or to the Class A Insulated chimney pipe at either the ceiling or the wall. 4" Selkirk Class A chimney pipe is available to assist with venting the stove through a combustible wall. The 4'' Selkirk Chimney Pipe is UL listed to 103 HT standards that are required for a wood burning stove. For the best performance it is best to vent the Caboose straight up through the ceiling and the roof. If vertical venting is not feasible, you are able to vent the stove through a wall and up the side of the home. No more than two 90 degree elbows are approved for the Caboose stove.
