The Knock-Down Multi-Flue Stainless Steel Chimney Caps are the ultimate solution for chimney protection. Engineered with precision and durability in mind, this cap provides protection against rain, snow, critters, debris, and chimney deterioration. Crafted for easy installation, it features a top mount or outside mount design that effortlessly attaches to the chimney crown or brick using chimney adhesive and masonry screws (included).
Removable lid for easy access to the chimney flues, so ultimately maintenance is a breeze. Features a lid overhang of 2" on all sides of the 3/4"mesh screen.
Provide your measurements that you would like the mesh screen fabricated to for a perfect fit.
Installation
With a 1.5" wide hinged mounting flange, you will be able to easily install the Stainless Steel Knockdown Multi-Flue Cap. The bottom hinged mounting flange provides flexibility. The bottom mounting hinge allows you to position the flange on either the outside or inside of the mesh screen.
To install, center the chimney cap onto the crown. Mark the hole positions in the base, typically you will need 4 - 8 screws for an average sized cap. Lift the bottom mounting flange and add a bead of silicone underneath, firmly press flange into the silicone. Drill holes in the marked positions and drive the masonry screws into the crown.
Please note, the top lid flange must be installed with the lid flange pointing inside the mesh screen.

Measuring for Your Stainless Steel Chimney Cap
Measure your chimney to ensure a customized fit with these tips. Provide your exact measurements and we'll fabricate the mesh screen accordingly. In other words, the measurements you enter will be the size the mesh screen is fabricated to.
It is recommended that the height of the mesh screen be 6" higher than the tallest flue that extends above the chimney for proper ventilation.
For outside mount installations, please add at least 1/4" to the exact length and width measurements for a snug fit.
Note: Stainless Steel Knock-Down Multi-Flue Caps are made custom per order and are non-returnable. With a fabrication time of 1-2 weeks (plus an additional week for powder coating, if desired), your chimney protection solution is just around the corner.
